Membership

TCNA membership is open to all domestic North American manufacturers of tile. Associate membership is available for art/studio tile manufacturers, domestic installation materials manufacturers, and domestic raw material and equipment suppliers to domestic tile manufacturers. Affiliated Product membership is designed for domestically-made specialized products and tools, cleaning and maintenance products, and metal or resin tile manufacturers selling to the ceramic tile industry.

Currently, TCNA membership represents over 90 percent of ceramic tile production in North America (Canada, Mexico and the United States). Funding of TCNA activities comes from membership dues, literature sales, product testing, trade show, and other activities.

Regular Membership

Open to manufacturers of ceramic tile (including glass, porcelain, quarry, and mosaic) who have an American, Canadian, or Mexican manufacturing facility with sales of $3 million U.S. or more. Dues start at .04 percent of sales from these facilities and have a minimum of $1,200 U.S. a year.

Associate Membership

Open to suppliers of raw materials or equipment to the ceramic tile industry that produce in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Dues range from $1,000 to $7,500 U.S. based on corporate sales.

Associate Installation Materials Membership

Open to U.S., Canadian, and Mexican manufacturers of mortars, grouts, membranes, tools, etc. in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Dues range from $1,000 to $7,500 U.S. based on corporate sales.

Associate Art/Studio Membership

Open to companies that manufacture ceramic tile in America or Canada. Dues are $250 to $750 U.S. based on sales of less than $3 million.

Affiliated Product Manufacturer Membership

Open to companies that manufacture in North America specialized products, tools or equipment marketed to and used by installers of ceramic tile; products and materials used for the treatment or maintenance of ceramic tile surfaces; or metal or resin tiles. Dues are U.S. $1,000 to $2,000 U.S. based on sales in North America.
